COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
At Rugby All-Stars, we are proud to be more than just a coaching programme - we are a team committed to giving back and making a meaningful difference in our communities.
From primary schools to universities, we actively engage with students, educators, and organisations through a variety of initiatives that promote inspiration, opportunity, and inclusion.
We are always looking to support schools, community events, charities, and universities in meaningful ways. If you’d like to collaborate with us, run an event, or book a free session, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Our Values
Free Sessions for Schools
In the lead-up to the Women’s Rugby World Cup, we offered free rugby sessions to primary and secondary schools across our counties reaching over 4,000 students to help grow grassroots rugby and raise awareness of the women’s game. These sessions promote confidence, teamwork, and physical activity in a fun, inclusive environment.
Charitable Events & Fund Raising
We regularly support charity days and school summer fairs, running obstacle courses, mini rugby tournaments, and donating free coaching sessions and merchandise to assist with fundraising. We also take part in initiatives such as Movember, using our platform to raise awareness of mental health in sport, with outstanding support from students and families alike.
Career Fairs and School Talks
Each year, we take part in career fairs and assemblies at both primary and secondary schools, where we share our experiences as professional athletes and business owners.
-
At Fernwood Junior School, we spoke with students about life as professional rugby players and coaches, answering thoughtful questions about the highs, lows, and lessons learned.
-
At Sir William Ramsay Secondary School, we delivered a session on resilience and personal organisation, helping students aged 15+ think about future pathways. We then joined the school’s careers fair to offer advice on pursuing roles in sport and coaching.
These opportunities allow us to inspire the next generation and help students build a clearer vision of their future.
University Collaboration & lnnovation
Our community impact extends to the university level, where we’ve proudly supported students from Nottingham Trent University.
One standout collaboration was with Harry Bureau, who developed the EDU-Tackle — an innovative tackle bag focused on improving safety in the sport. Our players provided hands-on testing and feedback, gaining insight into product development while supporting Harry’s academic journey.
“Supporting a student’s academic goals while inspiring our own players to think bigger was an incredibly rewarding experience. We’re proud to create platforms where students and athletes learn from each other.”
